Do I need Wi-Fi or a special app to send a listing?

No. It's the regular text messaging app already on your phone. No Wi-Fi required, nothing to download, and it works on any iPhone or Android phone with a camera.

What if I only have time for one quick photo right now?

One photo is enough to get a draft started. You can text up to 8 photos total, and add more later by replying with additional pictures before you reply SEND.

Is this safe for my eBay account?

Yes. We connect via eBay's official OAuth API system. We never see or store your eBay login password. You can disconnect Text2eBay from your eBay account at any time in your eBay settings.

Can I edit my listing after it's live on eBay?

Yes — just text the change (e.g. "make it $45" or "change the title to ..."). We update it on eBay in place, keeping the same item number and watchers. Note: eBay disables its own Edit button on listings created by tools like ours, so editing through us is how you change a live listing.

Can I sell as an auction instead of a fixed price?

Yes. When your draft is ready, reply "AUCTION" (or "AUCTION 9.99 7" to set a $9.99 start price and a 7-day length), then SEND. Reply "BUYITNOW" to switch back to a fixed price.
